To install the fuel level sensor the user should place it onto the reservoir while the retaining tabs align properly before inserting the module into the reservoir. Lay the fuel level sensor wires through the appropriate hole before fastening the sending unit reservoir retaining tabs on each side of the fuel tank. Set the fuel level sensor retaining clip before connecting the fuel level sensor electrical connector to the module connector and putting in the sending unit.
