    Q:
How to replace the battery fuse on the positive cable on Cadillac Escalade ESV? Posted by Customer
    A:
Starting the procedure of replacing a battery positive cable Fuse involves disconnecting the negative Battery Cable followed by removing the Fuse cover. Begin by disconnecting the two components: the starter solenoid cable nut followed by the starter solenoid cable terminal connected to the Fuse stud. Then proceed with removing the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut along with its terminal. You must first separate the positive Battery Cable terminal from the Fuse stud vacuum then draw out the Fuse from the holder. The first step for installation requires inserting the Fuse into the holder before applying the positive Battery Cable terminal to the Fuse stud and then the generator battery jumper cable terminal. Secure the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut by torquing it to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Secure the starter solenoid cable terminal by applying the starter solenoid cable nut and tight it to 9 n.m (80 lb in). After installation of the Fuse cover use the negative Battery Cable to complete the process.

    Q:
How to replace the Battery Fuse on the Battery Positive Cable with a single battery on Chevrolet Silverado 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Commence replacement of the battery positive cable Fuse with a single battery through negative Battery Cable termination process. Begin by removing the Fuse cover and proceeding to unscrew the starter solenoid cable nut followed by detachment of the starter solenoid cable terminal from the Fuse stud. The procedure starts with taking away the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut and generator battery jumper cable terminal from Fuse stud before moving to positive Battery Cable terminal. Put the new Fuse into the holder after you take out the Fuse from its place. The first step is to attach the positive Battery Cable terminal to the Fuse stud then proceed with the attachment of the generator battery jumper cable terminal. The generator battery jumper cable should be attached to Fuse nut at a torque setting of 9 n.m (80 lb in). Attach the starter solenoid cable terminal to the Fuse stud and fasten it using the starter solenoid cable nut which must be tightened to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Thoroughly place back the Fuse cover before you return the negative Battery Cable in position.

    Q:
How to replace the 175 Amp Mega Fuse with an auxiliary battery on GMC Sierra 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the 175 amp mega Fuse with an auxiliary battery involves disconnecting the negative cable of the auxiliary battery. Open the mega Fuse cover then detach the starter solenoid cable nut along with its terminal from the Fuse stud. First disconnect the auxiliary battery positive cable nut from the mega Fuse holder before removing the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut and terminal from the Fuse stud. You need to first take off the appropriate mega Fuse and then detach the auxiliary battery positive cable from the Fuse studs after possibly uninstalling the upper mega Fuse nut. Install the new mega Fuse first and also install the upper mega Fuse nut if needed before applying 15 nm (11 lb ft) torque. Reinstall the auxiliary battery positive cable to the Fuse studs before connecting the generator battery jumper cable terminal to the Fuse stud and cable to Fuse nut while torquing them to 9 nm (80 lb in). The installation requires attaching the auxiliary battery positive cable nut to the mega Fuse holder at a torque of 15 nm (11 lb ft). Afterward, connect the starter solenoid cable terminal and the nut to the Fuse stud, securing it to 15 nm (11 lb ft). After installation of the mega Fuse cover proceed with connecting the auxiliary battery negative wire.
