    Q:
How to replace the Power Steering Hose with hydroboost on Cadillac Escalade EXT? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the Power Steering Cooler pipe/hose with hydroboost, start with the removal of the front grille, the radiator air baffle, and the deflector-upper and subsequently, the radiator grille reinforcement support. Place a drain pan underneath the vehicle and siphon the fluid from the reservoir in order to minimize the spillage of the excess fluid. Untie the power steering gear outlet hose hose from the power steering gear and Power Steering Cooler hose from the Power Steering Pump using the respective clamps. Next off are the bolts that hold the Power Steering Cooler to the radiator support and take the cooler out of the vehicle. Run the hoses through the radiator support and attach the Power Steering Cooler to the radiator support, tightening the bolts to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Reconnect the Power Steering Cooler hose back to the Power Steering Pump and move the clamp back into position and reconnect the power steering outlet gear hose to the power steering gear and move the received clamp back on. Refill and bleed the power steering system, checking all hose connections for leaks. Finally, install the radiator grille reinforcement, radiator air baffle, deflector-upper, and front grille.
