    Q:
How to replace the Power Steering Hose without hydroboost on Cadillac Escalade? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start repairs on Power Steering Cooler pipe/hose without hydroboost by taking off the front grille then removing the radiator air baffle and deflector-upper followed by radiator grille reinforcement support. Disconnect the power steering gear outlet hose from its position between the cooler and from the Power Steering Pump. The Power Steering Cooler can be removed after you detach the bolts from the radiator support and pull out the Power Steering Cooler component from the vehicle. The Power Steering Cooler installation requires you to mount it to your vehicle before pulling the retaining bolts tight to 9 n.m (80 lb in). The Power Steering Pump receiving hose requires attachment to its Power Steering Pump followed by clamp repositioning after which the gear outlet hose from the pump needs connection to the cooler and proper clamp placement. Dismantle the power steering system for a bleeding process while checking all hoses for leaks. The installation process requires reinstallation of the radiator grille reinforcement support with the radiator air baffle and deflector-upper and the front grille.

    Q:
How to replace the inlet power steering hose on gas and hydroboost on GMC Yukon? Posted by Customer
    A:
The power steering gear inlet pipe/hose replacement on gas and hydroboost vehicles requires precipitation of drain pans under the vehicle followed by thorough note-taking of power steering gear inlet hose paths. Extract the power steering gear inlet hose from the power Brake Booster before removing the hose from the power steering gear to transfer outside the vehicle. The installation procedure demands proper handling of the hoses by avoiding twisting and preventing literal or physical perpetrators because these circumstances will cause damage. Before installation the power steering gear inlet hose must remain outside all space between the brake lines and the power Brake Booster area. Secure the new power steering gear inlet hose by attaching it to the power Brake Booster then make the first tightening manual. The hose needs clockwise rotation until it reaches the power Brake Booster housing where you should keep it steady before tightening it to the designated torque value. The power steering gear inlet hose installation requires connection to the power steering gear while tightening fittings to 32 nm (24 lb ft). After cleaning off all excess fluid from the vehicle technicians will remove drain pans before filling and performing a bleeding process on the power steering system.
