    To change the pan, disconnect the negative Battery Cable, remove the Engine Mount struts, and install the engine support fixture (J37315-B). Lift the vehicle and take off the A/C Compressor and move it, then add the catalytic converter pipe from the right Exhaust Manifold. Drainout the engine oil, isolate the oil level sensor e-fittings box and take out Starter motor. Then, take off the transaxle brace from the Oil Pan, loosen nuts on the transaxle mount lower, and take off the Engine Mount lower nuts before lowering the vehicle. Raise the engine while it is on the engine support fixture (J37315-B) then raise the vehicle again. Unbolt the Steering Shaft intermediate bolt, followed by the Engine Mount bracket along with its mount from the Oil Pan. You would have to take off the right lower Ball Joint, the right outer tie rod, and the right stabilizer link. Mount jackstands onto the frame assembly, take away the right side frame bolts, and access the left side frame bolts. Lift the right side of the frame assembly with the jack stands then with the j 39505 torque wrench adapter, remove the side bolts of the right Oil Pan, and the left Oil Pan before removing the Oil Pan and gasket. Clean and check the Oil Pan and the engine block gasket mating surfaces, then apply sealant gm p/n 12345739 (Canadian P/N 10953541) to rear main bearing cap and the engine block. Put the oil gasket pan together with the Oil Pan, and Oil Pan bolts tightly to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Apply the left Oil Pan side bolts and the right side Oil Pan bolts with the help of the j 39505 such that the right side Oil Pan to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.) and left side Oil Pan to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). Raise the frame assembly to the original position and use the jackstands, install right side tight and the frame bolts on the left side and remove the jackstands. Service the left press brake and install the right-side stabilizer link, the right-side outer tie rod to the Steering Knuckle, and the right-side lower Ball Joint to the Steering Knuckle. Attach the Steering Shaft intermediate pinch bolt with the Engine Mount bracket to the Oil Pan. Lower the vehicle and use the engine support fixture (J37315-B), to raise the engine to its original position. Lift up the vehicle once more, and mount the transaxle mount lower nuts, engine mount lower nuts, and the transaxle brace to the Oil Pan. Mount the Starter motor, connect the oil level sensor's electrical connector, install the exhaust catalytic convert pipe to the right Exhaust Manifold and install the A/C Compressor. Lastly, lower the vehicle, remove the engine support fixture (J37315-B), install the Engine Mount struts with the engine and fill up the crankcase with new oil, then reconnect the negative cable on the battery.
