Make sure to adjust the reservoir hose clamp at the radiator overflow fitting with the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) before anything else. Follow that by removing the reservoir hose from the overflow fitting, then take off the reservoir mounting clip and take out the coolant reservoir. At installation, the first step is to install the new coolant reservoir and fasten it with the reservoir mounting clip. Put the reservoir hose onto the radiator overflow fitting and use the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) to crimp the hose clamp onto the hose. Finally, fill the coolant reservoir.

The coolant recovery reservoir replacement process starts by moving the coolant overflow hose clamp from its position at the reservoir and then extracting the hose from the container. You need to start by removing the coolant recovery reservoir retainer then taking out the coolant reservoir. Start by installing the coolant reservoir and then the coolant recovery reservoir retainer when performing the installation. First reinstall the reservoir hose and next refit the coolant overflow hose clamp at the coolant recovery reservoir. The final step requires coolant reservoir filling according to the guidelines for coolant system draining followed by standard methods (Static Fill) and (Vac-N-Fill).

Begin coolant reservoir service and repair by removing the hose clamp and the radiator overlfow fitting hose. First eliminate the mounting clips which attach the reservoir before removing the coolant reservoir itself. Use soap and water first to clean the reservoir and then flush it with clean water until it's free from residue. Mounting clips are used to secure the coolant reservoir into position during installation. Before clamping down the reservoir hose apply clean water lubrication to both ends. Guide the hose towards the radiator overflow fitting and complete the installation with the clamp. Complete the process by adding coolant into the reservoir that uses part number 123456.

Begin coolant recovery reservoir replacement by moving the coolant overflow hose clamp away from the reservoir before removing the reservoir hose. Start by removing the coolant recovery reservoir retainer then extracted the coolant reservoir itself. The installation sequence begins with the coolant reservoir followed by the coolant recovery reservoir retainer. Begin by reconnecting the hose to the reservoir then reinstall the coolant overflow hose clamp at the coolant recovery reservoir. If the recovery reservoir needs filling then follow procedures under Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LZ9) and Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill).

Fill the coolant recovery reservoir.

Connect the reservoir hose back to the radiator overflow fitting.

Use the Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) to reposition the reservoir hose clamp at the radiator overflow fitting, then remove the reservoir hose from the fitting.

Connect the reservoir hose back to the radiator overflow fitting.

Take off the mounting clip attached to the reservoir and remove the coolant reservoir itself.

Refill the coolant reservoir.

Reposition the coolant overflow hose clamp at the coolant recovery reservoir and remove the hose from the reservoir.

Begin by placing the new coolant reservoir in position and securing it with the mounting clip.
