Start the procedure by lifting up the car before eliminating the appropriate drive shaft from the left or right wheel. The first step requires removal of both the left inner Axle Shaft and inner Axle Shaft seal cover from the left side. The j 29369-1 should be fixed to the bearing's backside while using the j 23907 to connect both tools together for inner Axle Shaft bearing removal. Install the j 29369-1 to the backside of the inner Axle Shaft seal and manually pull it out with the j23907 after placing the inner Axle Shaft seal cover into the vise clamp. Disassemble right side components by first uninstalling the inner Axle Shaft together with housing then separating the axle from the housing unit. Operating the j 29369-1 using the j 23907 allows you to remove the bearing and seal from the assembly. When working on the right side you must install the bearing with square shoulder by first using j 42211 along with j 8092 before applying j 42738 for new Axle Shaft seal installation followed by inner Axle Shaft and housing assembly reassembly. Standardize the left side bearing installation process using the j 42211 together with j 8092 after which you need to install the new Axle Shaft seal into the inner Axle Shaft seal cover by means of j 23911. Reinstall the wheel drive shaft then check the axle lubricant levels while lowering the vehicle. Secure the inner Axle Shaft seal cover along with its bolts to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.) then tap the left inner Axle Shaft gently with a soft mallet into the correct position.

The necessary equipment for front drive axle inner axle seal and bearing replacement consists of slide hammer (J02619-1), bushing and bearing remover (J29369-1), axle bearing installer (J42211), seal installer (J42738), and universal driver handle - 3/4 in - 10 (J8092). Start the procedure by lifting the vehicle before draining the differential carrier assembly. The left side seal replacement process involves disconnecting the wheel drive shaft from the inner shaft flange then removing the inner shaft whereas the next step involves removing the inner shaft seal cover bolts and its assembly. The procedure for left side bearing replacement involves first removing the differential carrier assembly with the left inner shaft before repeating the steps of removing the inner shaft seal cover bolts and assembly. To remove the inner shaft bearing apply the bushing and bearing remover (J29369-1) on the backside and connect the slide hammer (J02619-1) before pulling it out. The replacement of right side seals or bearings begins by taking off the inner shaft housing assembly followed by separate removal of the inner shaft from the housing. Place the inner shaft housing within a vise before installing the bushing and bearing remover (J29369-1) onto the seal or bearing on its backside and using the slide hammer (J02619-1) to perform extraction. Equipment requirements for right side bearing installation include securing the inner shaft housing in a vise and using the axle bearing installer (J42211) together with universal driver handle - 3/4 in - 10 (J8092). You should use the seal installer (J42738) to put on the right side inner shaft seal by feeding the inner shaft gently into the oil seal configuration. Use axle bearing installer (J42211) with universal driver handle - 3/4 in - 10 (J8092) for left side bearing installation before installing the inner shaft seal cover assembly along with its bolts to a torque of 18 nm (13 ft. Lbs.). You should install the left inner shaft into the differential carrier assembly while filling it with proper fluid then lower the vehicle to complete the installation.

The first step to replace the Front Drive Axle Inner Shaft Seal and Inner Shaft Bearing requires lifting the vehicle while draining the differential carrier assembly fluid. The left side seal replacement requires disconnecting the wheel drive shaft from its inner shaft flange followed by taking off the inner shaft before removing the inner shaft seal cover bolts and assembly. The process to replace the left side bearing requires removal of the differential carrier assembly together with the left inner shaft and inner shaft seal cover bolts and assembly. Apply the J 29369-1 (Bushing and Bearing Remover) to the inner shaft bearing on its backside before connecting the J 2619-01 (Slide Hammer) for pulling out the inner shaft bearing. First remove the inner shaft from the housing after taking out the inner shaft and housing assembly to reach both the right side seal and bearing. Secure the inner shaft housing within a vise while applying the J 29369-1 (Bushing and Bearing Remover) to its back surface followed by attaching the J 2619-01 (Slide Hammer) to pull out the seal or seal along with bearing. Installation of right side bearings requires using the vise to secure the inner shaft housing prior to bearing installation through J 42211 (Axle Bearing Installer) and J 8092 (Universal Driver Handle - 3/4 in - 10). When installing the right side seal use J 42738 (Seal Installer) while carefully guiding the inner shaft through the oil seal. Put the inner shaft inside the housing before reuniting the components of the inner shaft and housing assembly. The owners must use J 42211 (Axle Bearing Installer) along with J 8092 (Universal Driver Handle - 3/4 in - 10) to install the left side bearing while they should also install the inner shaft seal cover assembly followed by securing the cover bolts at 18 Nm (13 lb ft) and guiding the left inner shaft through the oil seal until it contacts the differential case side gear. Use a soft-faced mallet while tapping the retaining ring into its groove until it reaches full seating then obstruct it with a finger to check its locking position. Reinstall the differential carrier assembly to the inner shaft flange as well as the wheel drive shaft and then add the suitable fluid to the differential carrier assembly before lowering the vehicle.

Reinstall the axle shaft, the rear axle housing cover, and the tire and wheel assembly, fill the rear axle, and lower the vehicle.

Put the tire and wheel assembly back on and fill the rear axle with the appropriate differential oil.

Raise and support the vehicle, then remove the tire and wheel assembly.

Remove the left inner axle shaft, then the inner axle shaft seal cover. Attach the Bushing and Bearing Remover (J29369-1) to the backside of the inner axle shaft bearing, connect the Slide Hammer (J23907) to it, and pull to remove the bearing. Secure the inner axle shaft seal cover in a vise, then use the Bushing and Bearing Remover (J29369-1) to remove the inner axle shaft seal.

Install the axle shaft, fill the rear axle with lubricant, and lower the vehicle.

Reinstall the axle shaft, the rear axle housing cover, and the tire and wheel assembly. Finally, fill the rear axle with the appropriate fluid and lower the vehicle.

Begin by raising the vehicle and removing the left or right wheel drive shaft, ensuring not to damage the case.

Remove the inner axle shaft and housing assembly, then the inner axle shaft from the housing. Use the Bushing and Bearing Remover (J29369-1) and Slide Hammer (J23907) to remove the bearing and seal.

Fill the rear axle with lubricant and remove the support to lower the vehicle.

Ensure the axle shaft bearing is fully seated in the rear axle shaft housing.
