Service and repair of the left side transmission mount begins with vehicle support followed by front left tire removal and wheel extraction after right front fascia extension removal. Start by removing the side cover's four bolts that fasten the left transaxle mount and then take out the mount bracket separately from the vehicle. Before installation of the left transaxle bracket, use thread lock compound GM P/N 12345493 or equivalent on the bolts of the bracket and then attach the bracket to the case side cover using 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.) of torque. To finish the installation you must first install the left transaxle mount followed by reattaching the right front fascia extension and putting the left front tire and wheel back on and then lower the vehicle.
