Hold up the transaxle using a transaxle support stand, then remove nuts from mount bracket, lower mounts' bolts, and nut. The next step is to remove the three retaining bolts of the mount bracket and get the mount and the mount bracket from the vehicle. For installation, mount up the mount and the mount bracket to the vehicle, applying thread lock compound gm p/n 12345493 or equivalent on the rear transmission bracket bolts. Fasten the retaining bolts to the mount bracket; tighten to an 63 nm (46 ft. Lbs.). Subsequently, the transmission mount lower bolts and nut are installed onto the mount, which is to be tightened at 50nm (37ft. Lbs.); followed the upper nuts are installed onto the mount and are to be tightened at 50nm (37ft. Lbs.), respectively. Take off the transaxle support stand then put the power steering return hose and power steering pressure hose to the Rack And Pinion; install the power steering gear heat shield and return the vehicle by lowering it.
