Q: How to replace the rear door power door lock actuator on 2003 GMC Envoy?
A: To remove both of the rear door power Door Lock Actuator, you will remove the door trim panel, followed pestering its water deflector, next the door latch system. Secondly, remove the 2 screws that hold the actuator to the lock. Carefully lift and rotate the actuator and disengage the rubber Bumper from latch and remove the actuator from the latch. For installation first fixed the rubber Bumper to the latch, then by turning the actuator towards the latch make sure the rubber Bumper is comprehensively locked. It is very important to align and interlock the first tooth of the gear on the actuator and the first tooth of the gear on the latch. Mount the actuator on the top of the latch then install the 2 screws, which hold the actuator to the lock that you tighten it at 0.75 n.m (6 lb in). Finally, rebolt the lock on the door, water deflector, and door trim panel.
