Next, remove the ignition cable from the left side spark plugs by twisting the boot one-half turn to allow it to come off while pulling only on the boot to avoid damaging the wire. Next, take off the ignition cable from the wire retaining clips and move to the right-hand side Spark Plug, performing the same removal and making sure to disconnect the wires from the ignition coil/control module and the engine. If they are replacing with new ignition cable, transfer any necessary equipment including boot heat shield, ignition cable conduit, and ignition cable retaining clips. For installation, one should connect the ignition cable to the ignition coil/control module, then the right side spark plugs, with them being fastened in the retaining clips, and subsequently connecting the wire to the left side spark plugs, and fastening them into the retaining clips. Finally, reinstall the injector sight shield.
