To replace ignition cables (2, 4, and 6) from left side engine spark plugs twist each boot one-half turn counter-clockwise and pull only on the boot to prevent wire damage. After detaching the ignition cables from their retaining clips gently turn the engine to reach the back area. Afterward detach the ignition cables (1, 3 and 5) from right side engine spark plugs and their retaining clip and disconnect wires from ignition coils and the engine steel frame. When changing the ignition cables consumers need to move the conduit and retaining clips from the previous system. The installation process begins when you connect ignition cables 1, 3, and 5 to their corresponding ignition coils before linking them to their designated engine right side spark plugs. Finally, secure each wire with the retaining clip. Following engine rotation to its original position install the ignition cables (2, 4, and 6) to the ignition coils and from there to engine left side spark plugs until they lock into retaining clips.

You need to start the spark plug wire replacement process by twisting each left engine spark plug boot with a half-turn to free it while only pulling on the boot to stop wire damage. After unclipping the Spark Plug Wires from retaining devices it is necessary to remove Spark Plug Wires (1, 3, and 5) plus their retaining clip from engine right side spark plugs. You should first remove all Spark Plug Wires from the ignition coils and the engine. When installing new Spark Plug Wires operators must move all needed components including spark plug wire conduit and retaining clips. Installation process starts with wire-up of Spark Plug Wires between engine components before coil attachment. Secure the Spark Plug Wires numbered 1, 3 and 5 to their corresponding engine right side spark plugs by using the retaining clip. You will complete the installation by placing Spark Plug Wires (2, 4, and 6) on the engine left side spark plugs then fastening them to retaining clips.

Remove them from the retaining clips and the engine.

Remove the intake manifold cover.

Reinstall the injector sight shield.

Connect the spark plug wires to the ignition coil/control module, followed by the right side spark plugs, securing them in the retaining clips, and then attach the wires to the left side spark plugs, again securing them in the retaining clips.
