The sensor replacement starts with detaching the ho2s 2 harness connector and applying a liquid penetrating agent before removing the sensor yet one must avoid using silicone-based products because they will damage the ho2s. Extract the heated oxidation sensor 2 from its position in the Exhaust Pipe. When installing the ho2s 2 you need to apply a small amount of nickel-based anti-seize compound to its threads yet avoid using any silicone-based products for the procedure. Fasten the ho2s 2 sensor with 42 n.m (31 lb ft) torque setting. Fully connect the ho2s 2 harness connector through insertion until you hear the click and afterward perform the check to confirm correct attachment. Check that the ho2s 2 harness pigtail connector properly attaches the chassis.
