How to replace the right side camshaft on 2007 Cadillac STS?

The right side Camshaft replacement requires upper and lower Intake Manifold removal followed by Camshaft cover, sensors, and intake Camshaft position actuator solenoid extraction. Beginning with Crankshaft balancer removal allows Crankshaft rotation through the Crankshaft rotation socket (EN 46111) until camshafts reach their neutral (low tension) position with flats parallel to the Camshaft cover rail. Maintain the Camshaft stability by applying an open-end wrench at the hex while avoiding the removal of the actuator bolt and instead loosen it. Use the Timing Chain retention tool (EN 46108) for chain retention by fully engaging its tips and tighten the nuts solidly. Before uninstalling the Camshaft position actuator bolt and the Camshaft bearing caps and Camshaft start by tagging the Timing Chain and marking corresponding positions on both Camshaft position actuators. Install the components to their proper positions while skipping the tightness step of the Camshaft position actuator bolt. After locating the camshafts to the Cylinder Head the technicians will assemble the Camshaft actuators before installing both camshafts and Camshaft bearing caps. Use the open-end wrench at the Camshaft hex to stop the Crankshaft balancer from spinning during installation of the Crankshaft balancer while removing the Timing Chain retention tool (EN 46108). Use these installation steps to put the Camshaft position actuators then the intake Camshaft position actuator solenoid before adding the Camshaft sensors and Camshaft cover together with the upper Intake Manifold and lower Intake Manifold.
