    A: To remove the Vehicle Speed Sensor in the 4t45-e automatic transaxles, one is supposed to disconnect the negative Battery Cable from the terminal of the battery. Lift and support the vehicle, then reduce the electrical connector at the vehicle speed sensors. Next unpack the retaining stud and after that the sensor which you pull straight out to prevent damage to the case. Drain and dry the Vehicle Speed Sensor prior to installing it with the retaining bolt, tighten the stud to 12 n.m (97 lb in). Reconnect the electric connector at the sensor, take out the safety stands, and lower the car. Lastly, reconnect the negative Battery Cable making sure that the terminal bolt is tightened to 15 n.m (11 lb ft).
