  A: To replace the hydraulic power steering Rack And Pinion the first step will be disconnecting the Rack And Pinion outer tie rods from the steering knuckles. Then, you can disconnect the intermediate steering shaft lower bolt and set drain pans under the car as necessary. Remove the transaxle mount bolt and the transaxle mount bolts then put the transaxle mount aside. Remove the power steering Rack And Pinion inlet hose and the power steering cooler hose from the power steering Rack And Pinion. With power steering hoses, take off the power steering Rack And Pinion hoses bracket bolt and unclip the power steering Rack And Pinion hose from the bracket. Bolt off the power steering Rack And Pinion bolts and remove the power steering Rack And Pinion through the left wheel house area and withdraw as necessary parts. For installation locate the power steering Rack And Pinion in through the left wheel house area, thereafter install the power steering Rack And Pinion bolts and tighten to 110 nm (81 lb ft). If fitted, the Rack And Pinion then place the power steering Rack And Pinion hoses in the bracket bolt and fasten tightening it to 9 nm (80 lb in) and then clip it to the bracket. Secure the power steering Rack And Pinion inlet hose and the power steering fluid cooler hose to the power steering Rack And Pinion and tighten 25 nm (18 lb ft). Install the transaxle mount, transaxle mount bolts tightened to 50nm (37 lb ft) then the transaxle mount occurs, bolt tightened 110nm (81 lb ft). Flush away any fluid in excess from the vehicle and disconnect from the drain pans. Mount the intermediate steering shaft lower bolt followed by the mounting of the Rack And Pinion outer tie rods to steering knuckles. Finally, fill and bleed power steering system and correct the front toe.
