How to replace the rear brake line (J57) on 2010 Chevrolet Corvette?

Start by lifting and stabilizing the vehicle with brake rotor protectors installed to maintain brake rotor safety when removing tires and wheels. Take out the brake hose fitting bolt from the tire and wheel assembly before removing the brake hose's old gaskets. Attach a protective cap to the brake pipe fitting to stop fluid draining and contamination. First remove the two bolts holding both components together. Install the new brake hose through the brake hose bracket bolt and tighten its 10 Nm (89 lb in) setting. Join the brake pipe unit by applying torque of 18 Nm (13 lb ft). Install two new brake hose gaskets onto the brake hose prior to joining it to the caliper using the brake hose fitting bolt. Once aligned properly, fasten the bolt with 40 Nm (30 lb ft) torque. After bleeding the hydraulic brakes you must put back the wheel and tire elements by taking out protective covers from the disc brake rotor first.
