Take off the intermediate shaft lower pinch bolt and disengage the intermediate shaft from the power gearing unit. Then, take off the outer tie rod and the power steering gear holding bolts and then carefully align the power steering gear for working with the dust boot. Slack off the jam nut from the inner tie rod, followed by the detachable inner outer clamps from the Rack and Pinion Boot, then latterly, remove it Rack and Pinion Boot. Switch the tire and wheel, then drop the vehicle, and lastly, but not least remove the j 42640 from the Steering Column before adjusting the front toe.
