When installing a new transverse spring always measure the rear spring adjuster bolt gap which will serve as height reference for vehicle trims. Use the transverse spring compressor (J 33432-A) to compress the transverse spring before removing one of the lower Control Arms and the transverse spring bolts and retainers and discard the old bolts.
