The Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) should be utilized to remove the HO2S. Coat your new oxygen sensor's threads with anti-seize compound GM P/N 5613695 because this mixture of liquid graphite and glass beads helps you take out the sensor easily in future maintenance. Use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to install the HO2S then tighten it to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). After the process finishes raise the vehicle and connect the HO2S harness connector.
