Handle all tasks with hand tools only to unscrew the mounting nuts at the Rear Crossmember before extracting the component from the vehicle and discarding the mounting nuts. During installation align the crossmember dowel pins to the frame rails and transaxle mount studs to the crossmember before using new crossmember mounting nuts. Use only hand tools to install and torque new rear suspension crossmember mounting nuts to 110 n.m (81 lb ft).
