Wheel Speed Sensors, the real time damping (RTD) position sensor links if equipped, and the shock absorber solenoid electrical connectors if equipped. Next, take out the transverse spring from the cross member and hold the cross member with a transmission jack. It is in these breakdown steps that the stabilizer shaft is detached from the vehicle; outer tie rod ends studs are also disconnected from the rear suspension knuckles, and finally the nuts of the transaxle mount's lower will have to be removed. Control Arms. Loosen the lower ball joint stud nuts but do not remove them and remove the lower Control Arm from the rear suspension knuckles. First turn the
Steering Knuckles backwards until this would allow the wheel drive shaft clear the
Differential then support the wheel drive shafts and the rear suspension knuckles. Remove all electrical connectors and brake pipes from the crossmember while supporting the transaxle at its lower part beneath the pan of the transmission with a transmission jack, and the rear crossmember mounting nuts off. Finally, unlock the crossmember from the vehicle and discard the rear crossmember mounting nuts.
