You must remove the right side instrument panel insulator before you can work with the Blower Motor Resistor assembly. Pull apart the electrical connections from the Blower Motor Resistor and the Blower Motor device. Keep in mind only a restricted entry to the restricted opening exists because of how the slotted design blocks access. Release the screws on the Blower Motor Resistor's front side before detached the single screw from the rear and removed the Blower Motor Resistor. Slide the new Blower Motor control processor to fit its forward mounting slots onto the screws before pushing it against the hvac panel. Follow the fastener notice in service precautions while placing the Blower Motor Resistor into position. Then bolt in the rear screw and tighten every screw to 1.5 n.m (13 lb in). Plug the electrical connections back into the Blower Motor and resistance control before placing the right instrument panel insulator back.
