Junction Block

The process to replace the Body Wiring Harness Junction Block begins with removing the cover retaining nut and pushing in the tabs to remove the cover. Press the tabs located at the junction block front to detach the harness although keeping the junction block on the bracket. Get access to the back of the junction block to extract its retaining bolts once the junction block block has been removed. The junction block removal requires using a screwdriver to separate the wire harness block from the junction block before completing removal of the block from the vehicle. Start the installation by attaching the wire harness block to the junction block then fasten it with retaining bolts tightened at 6 N.m (53 lb in). Put the junction block on the bracket while applying pressure to the top part to ensure proper insertion. The harness must be connected to the junction block front before placing the cover and securing the retaining nut manually while making sure it settles correctly.

The first step for junction block replacement starts with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable(s) followed by removing the harness positioned at the front side of the body wiring harness junction block. To access the junction block users must first remove its cover followed by disconnecting upper pivot points to lower it downward before unfastening lower pivots to extract it from its bracket position. Before the junction block removal you must disconnect both 68-way ip connectors and every remaining wiring connector attached to it. The two 68-way ip connectors must be connected to the junction block while installing all other wiring connectors need to be connected as well. Insert the junction block onto the bracket while reconnecting the harness to the front of the junction block followed by covering attachment and reattachment of the negative Battery Cable(s).

A proper service of the Fuse Box requires the driver to begin by disconnecting battery cables and removing the left end panel. Press the clips situated at both ends to free the Fuse Box from the ip assembly. Further, remove the Fuse Box from the vehicle after disconnecting all wiring connectors. Begin the installation by attaching wiring connectors to the Fuse Box followed by mounting it onto the ip assembly while applying pressure to top and bottom clips until they reach full seating position. The installation ends with placement of the left side end panel followed by connecting the negative Battery Cable(s).

The first step to replace the body wiring harness Fuse Box requires disconnecting negative battery cables followed by removing the harness from its position at the Fuse Box. Begin by unsnapping the Fuse Box cover and then unsnap both upper pivots before rotating the box downwards and then detach it from the bracket by unsnapping lower pivots. The body wiring harness Fuse Box removal requires users to disconnect the two 68 way ip connectors and every remaining wiring connector from the Fuse Box before extracting it from the vehicle. Begin by joining the two 68 way ip connectors to the Fuse Box before attaching all other wiring connectors. The installation requires users to snap the Fuse Box into position on the bracket followed by reconnecting the harness to the front of the Fuse Box before covering it and reconnecting the negative Battery Cable(s).

Service and repair of the right side Fuse Box requires first disconnecting all negative battery cables and subsequent removal of the right side end panel. The wiring connectors on the instrument panel junction block need detachment from their front position followed by unfastening the harness from its fastener. To remove the ip wiring harness junction block users need to push both clips while pulling the unit backward and disconnect the lower ip light bulb by counterclockwise rotation followed by rearward extraction. The ip wiring harness junction block should be passed through the ip hole after all wiring connectors on the block's rear are detached from the vehicle. The installation process requires connecting wiring connectors to the junction block and passing it through the available hole in the ip. To insert the lower ip light bulb thread the bulb socket clockwise and simultaneously push inward before connecting the ip wiring harness junction block to the ip through squeezing both sealing clips. The workflow ends with installation of the right side end panel and reconnecting negative battery cables while you secure the wiring connector to the ip wiring harness junction block and fasten the harness to its place.

Begin electrical junction block or underhood electrical center replacement by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable followed by removal of the left fender upper brace. The electrical center brace cover assembly requires lifting outward to release its tabs so you can remove all fuses and relays. Use the tab to rotate the electrical center onto its studs at before removing all connectors by unscrewing their bolt . All electrical center block connectors should be removed before pushing up on the tabs which will lift the electrical center outside the housing. Replace the starting and charging center bracket by first removing its 4 retaining bolts followed by taking off the bracket assembly from the fender. Use the front fender to mount the starting and charging center bracket assembly and proceed by tightening its 4 retaining bolts to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Position the electrical center block stubs into their corresponding slots before the tabs secure it in place; then connect wire connectors to the lower segment of the electrical center block and tighten all connector bolts to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Secure all wire connectors firstly and position the electrical center block correctly until its tabs firmly lock into position. First install the lower part of the cover while following all Fuse and relay locations to install each component before putting on the cover. Secure the fender upper brace and fasten its 4 retaining bolts to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Complete the check by attaching the negative Battery Cable and starting the vehicle which allows testing of all integrated systems.

Connect the wiring connector(s) onto the front of the IP wiring harness junction block, attach the harness to the fastener, reinstall the right side end panel, and reconnect the negative battery cable(s).

Disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the left rear fender brace.
