Affix the access cover to the rear side of the headlamp assembly followed by reattachment of the headlamp unit. Select a black socket to fit high beam bulbs because low beam bulbs need a gray tip coupled with a gray socket.

You must turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to detach it from the fog lamp housing. Then pull out the socket and bulb from the socket. To install the bulb insert it into the socket while making sure that the slots on the bulb socket match the positions in the fog lamp housing. To install the socket into the fog lamp housing you must turn it clockwise until it reaches complete seating.

Take out the bulb from the socket.

Remove the push-in retainers that secure the front flap of the front wheelhouse liner to the fascia.

Twist the bulb about 1/4 turn counterclockwise to remove it from the lamp housing.

Reinstall the access cover at the rear of the headlamp assembly.

Insert the park/turn bulb into the socket, then rotate the socket clockwise to install it into the headlamp housing. Replace the access cover by rotating it clockwise.

Insert the park/turn bulb into the bulb socket, then install the socket into the headlamp housing by rotating it clockwise.

Open the hood while holding the headlamp to prevent damage.

Rotate the headlamp bulb access cover counterclockwise to remove it, then rotate the socket counterclockwise to take out the headlamp bulb. Disconnect the headlamp bulb electrical connector if necessary.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the headlamp assembly, position it back onto the vehicle ensuring the tabs are seated, and install the bolts, tightening them to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

Turn the fog lamp switch to the OFF position.

Remove the fastener and the cover itself.

Remove the fastener and the cover itself.

Close the hood and check and adjust the front headlamp aim.

Turn the fog lamp switch to the OFF position.
