    Q:
How to replace the A/C Condenser in the HVAC system on Buick Regal? Posted by Customer
    A:
To change the condenser in the hvac unit, the refrigerant must be recovered first. Next, take away the front fender upper diagonal, the air cleaner assembly and the Radiator. Undo the condenser tube nut from the condenser and unlink the condenser tube from it. Pump the a/c system to reduce the pressure in it and then pull off the a/c compressor hose block fitting a nut and knock off the a/c compressor hose. After taking off the condenser, fit the new condenser, remember to coat the new o-ring seals with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil prior to fitting them onto the a/c compressor hose and the condenser tube. Attach the a/c compressor hose to the condenser installing the a/c compressor hose block fitting nut to the condenser. Tighten it to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Finally, connect the condenser tube to the condenser and install the condenser tube block fitting nut and tighten it to 27 n.m (20 lb ft). Replace the Radiator and front fender upper diagonal with an air cleaner assembly. Last, evac and recharge the a/c and carry out a leak test on fittings using the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).

    Q:
How to replace the A/C Condenser on Buick Regal? Posted by Customer
    A:
First recover the refrigerant before replacing the condenser. Start by removing the front fender upper diagonal before taking off the air cleaner assembly and Radiator. First loosen the tube nut from the condenser and disconnect the tube. Disconnect the a/c compressor hose from the condenser by removing its block fitting nut. Insert the condenser top section from the front towards the vehicle's rear until you can pull it out. Keep the lower rubber mounts attached while removing the condenser. The upper rubber mounts need to be removed from the condenser. Start your installation by mounting the upper rubber mounts to the condenser before lowering the condenser's lower ends into the lower rubber mounts where the upper mounts should remain secure. Position the condenser top carefully and apply mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil to new o-ring seals before assembly to the a/c compressor hose and the condenser tube. Secure the condenser tube to the condenser through application of 27 n.m (20 lb ft) torque force. The a/c compressor hose needs installation onto the condenser before applying the a/c compressor hose block fitting nut with a torque of 16 n.m (12 lb ft). After the Radiator replacement install the front fender upper diagonal and air cleaner assembly before evacuating and recharging the a/c system. Check fittings for leaks using the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).

How to replace the A/C Condenser on Buick Century? Posted by Customer
    A:
One must begin by recovering refrigerant from the system and then remove the front fender upper diagonal and air cleaner assembly and Radiator from the vehicle. Disconnect the A/C Condenser tube by first loosening its tube nut followed by removing the block fitting nut and compressor hose from the condenser. Start by tilting the condenser toward the back of the vehicle until you can lift it up. Keep the lower rubber mounts on their position while you remove the upper rubber mounts from the condenser. When replacing the condenser users should apply refrigerant oil first then place upper rubber mounts onto the condenser before fitting the lower rubber mounts to their position while maintaining the upper mounts in place. First put the condenser's top into its position before adding new o-ring seals to the compressor hose and condenser tube. Attach the tube to the condenser and tighten its nut until it reaches 27 n.m (20 lb ft). To complete this step connect the a/c compressor hose to the condenser then install and tighten the a/c compressor hose block fitting nut to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). After installing the Radiator use the front fender upper diagonal and air cleaner assembly to finish the process then the a/c system requires evacuation and recharging before conducting a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) inspection.

    Q:
How to replace the A/C Condenser in an A/C system on Chevrolet Monte Carlo? Posted by Customer
    A:
The process begins by recovering refrigerant and then removing the Radiator before proceeding. First remove the liquid line nut from the condenser then place the liquid line to one side before you disconnect the a/c compressor line nut from the condenser and locate the a/c compressor line nearby. Carefully tilt the condenser top while moving it toward the vehicle's back until you can lift it out while keeping the low rubber mounts stable. Pull the rubber mounts which are at the condenser's top end. Install refrigerant oil into a new condenser before inserting upper rubber mounts onto the condenser and lowering its lower ends into the ruby mounts while maintaining secure placement of the upper mounts. Starting from the top, republic of turkey ministry of national defense move the condenser into position before installing fresh o-ring seals to both the condenser tube and the a/c compressor hose. Begin by installing the liquid line to the condenser and torque the liquid line nut to 27 n.m (20 lb ft) and after that install and torque the a/c compressor hose block fitting nut to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). The Radiator gets installed before evacuating and recharging the a/c system and performing a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) check on all fittings.
