    Start the front door latch service process by taking off the door trim panel together with the water deflector. The next step involves detaching the key cylinder lock rods with the outside handle from the lock mechanism. Start by taking out the three screws attaching the lock to the door surface and then carefully guide the window to access the simple bolts to remove all three sash to window bolts. Detach wire harnesses from both lock and Window Motor and module before taking out the two nuts and one bolt. The next step requires removal of the door module. Install the lock module by positioning it onto the door then hanging it on the studs before starting the two nuts and single bolt manually. When installing at least three fasteners onto the door for the lock position ensure to pull forward on the module assembly before torquing each fastener into place. The lock assembly should be securely held in position while torquing the two nuts first to 6 n.m (53 lb in) followed by the one bolt at 6 n.m (53 lb in). Reconnect electrical wiring while installing window sash bolts and returning the outside handle as well as lock rods. Reinstall the water deflector while completing the installation with the trim panel.
