Fuse nut of the generator battery jumper cable together with its terminal must be removed from the Fuse stud before disconnection of the positive Battery Cable terminal. Transfer the new Fuse to the empty holder position. After securement of the positive Battery Cable terminal to the Fuse stud one should proceed with connecting the generator battery jumper cable terminal and the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut before tightening the nut to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Connect the starter solenoid cable terminal followed by its nut to the Fuse stud while tightening both elements to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Replace the Fuse cover afterward you restore the negative Battery Cable.

After fitting the new mega Fuse install the upper mega Fuse nut when needed by securing it using 15 nm torque (11 lb ft). Tighten all three connections sequentially: first connect the auxiliary battery positive cable to the Fuse studs then install the generator battery jumper cable terminal to the Fuse stud before securing the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut and tighten it to 9 nm (80 lb in). Fasten the auxiliary battery positive cable nut to the mega Fuse holder at 15 nm (11 lb ft) then install the starter solenoid cable terminal with its nut to the Fuse stud at 15 nm (11 lb ft). Put back the mega Fuse cover and return power through the auxiliary battery negative cable.

The first step for replacing the battery positive cable Fuse with an auxiliary battery requires users to detach the negative auxiliary Battery Cable and remove the mega Fuse cover. Begin by unfastening both the starter solenoid cable nut and terminal mounted on the Fuse stud followed by the removal of the auxiliary battery positive cable nut from its place on the mega Fuse holder then detach the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut and terminal from the Fuse stud. Begin by removing the upper mega Fuse nut and then proceed with taking out the appropriate mega Fuse from the Fuse studs after disconnecting the auxiliary battery positive cable. The installation process requires putting in the correct mega Fuse first while adding the upper mega Fuse nut only when needed before tightening it to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Attach the generator battery jumper cable terminal next before connecting the generator battery jumper cable to Fuse nut while tightening it to 9 n.m (80 lb in). You must tighten the nut on the mega Fuse holder where the auxiliary battery positive cable attaches to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Continue by installing the starter solenoid cable terminal and nut on the Fuse stud and tighten it to 9 n.m (80 lb in). After installation replace the mega Fuse cover while resetting the connection of the auxiliary battery negative cable.

Tighten the nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Take off the starter solenoid cable nut and the starter solenoid cable terminal from the fuse stud.

Remove the positive battery cable terminal from the fuse stud and take out the fuse from the holder.

Attach the generator battery jumper cable terminal to the fuse stud.

Replace the fuse cover and reconnect the negative battery cable.

Replace the fuse cover and reconnect the negative battery cable.

Remove the generator battery jumper cable to fuse nut and the generator battery jumper cable terminal from the fuse stud.

Remove the upper mega fuse nut and the appropriate mega fuse.

Install the starter solenoid cable terminal and secure it with the starter solenoid cable nut, tightening it to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Secure the auxiliary battery positive cable nut to the mega fuse holder at 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
