Start the process to replace front door locks by first removing front door trim panel followed by water deflector then remove rear run channel from the door. You need to extract the rear run channel which exists on the door. Situate the lock rods outside of the lock before completely detaching the electrical connectors of the lock. Take out the Door Lock rod guide and remove the bolts holding the lock to the door before extracting the lock. Position the lock in the door and use the bolts to fasten it before tightening the bolts to 10 n.m (89 lb in). First return the Door Lock rod guide to the Door Lock before plugging in the lock connectors and putting back the lock rods. Start by reinstalling the rear run channel followed by reinstallation of the water deflector before placing the front door trim panel correctly into position.

The starting point to change the side front door lock is to uninstall the side front door trim panel. Begin by removing the lock rods from the side front door lock and by performing a disconnect of any electrical connector from the side front door lock when needed. The side front door lock needs to be removed from the door by removing the screw keeping it in place. Secure the side front door lock into place by aligning it in the door and installing screws and tightening them to 10 N.m (89 lb in). You must reattach the electrical connector to the side front door lock before you bring the lock rods together with the side front door lock forces. Replace the side front door trim panel as the final step.

Installation of a new power door lock actuator begins with following the standard lock replacement instructions for front doors, side front doors, rear doors and sliding door rears. First eliminate the two retainers that keep the power door lock actuator connected to the door lock assembly then detach the actuator itself from the assembly. The new power door lock actuator needs to be positioned into place before securement to the door lock assembly by using the two retainers. The correct door lock assembly installation requires implementing the relevant lock replacement steps of the door type.

Detach the lock rods from the sliding side door rear lock and remove the bolts securing the lock to the door.

Remove the left side rear door trim panel.

Remove the door lock assembly by following the appropriate lock replacement procedure for the specific door type.

Reattach the lock rod to the side rear door upper latch.

Install the latch and ensure to tighten the two latch bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Detach the lock rods from the sliding side door control assembly.

Begin by removing the side rear door trim panel.

Reattach the lock rod to the latch.

Take out the power door lock actuator retainers from the door lock assembly.

Reattach the lock rod to the side rear door upper latch and finally reinstall the side rear door trim panel.

Remove the latch bolts and the latch.

Remove the two latch bolts and take out the latch.

Detach the lock rod from the left side rear door lower latch and remove the four bolts securing the latch to the door.

Begin by removing the side rear door trim panel.

Install the latch and ensure to tighten the two latch bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Reconnect the side rear door lower latch lock rod to the side rear door lower latch and reinstall the side rear door trim panel.

Reattach the lock rod to the side rear door upper latch and finally reinstall the side rear door trim panel.

Remove the two latch bolts and take out the latch.

Remove the bolts that secure the side rear door upper latch to the door and take out the latch.

First, remove the door lock assembly.

First, remove the left side rear door trim panel.

Finally, reinstall the right side rear door trim panel.

Reattach the lock rod to the latch.

Install the new latch in its place and secure it by installing the bolts, tightening them to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Reattach the lock rod to the latch.

Open the door and disconnect the power connector.

Next, detach the lock rod from the side rear door upper latch and remove the bolt securing the latch to the door.

Position the new power door lock actuator and secure it with the retainers.

Install the new left side rear door upper latch and secure it with the bolts, tightening them to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

Finally, reinstall the door lock assembly according to the relevant lock replacement procedure for the specific door type.

Position the new side rear door lower latch onto the door, ensuring to follow fastener caution guidelines.
