    Q:
How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on Chevrolet Cobalt? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor, you must first remove the Starter. Although this may involve dismantling the entire system, it would definitely be worth it. A well-maintained motor is likely to stay in good shape for a very long time and save you a lot of expenses. Next, pull the engine wiring harness electrical connector back out of the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor and remove the ckp sensor bolt as well as the ckp sensor from the vehicle. For the installation, the ckp sensor o-ring seal should be lubricated with clean engine oil prior to installing the ckp sensor. Fit the ckp sensor bolt and tightenit to 10 nm (89 lb in). Reattach the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the ckp sensor and then finally reinstate the Starter.

How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on Chevrolet HHR? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin by unmounting the Starter before disconnecting the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor's electrical connector to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor. First remove the ckp sensor bolt from the sensor then pull out the sensor. Before inserting the ckp sensor into the block you must inspect its o-ring and apply mineral-based grease before performing gentle insertion. Fasten the Crankshaft Position Sensor bolt with a torque of 10 n.m which equals 89 lb in. Reconnect the electrical connector for the ckp sensor then replace the Starter. The ckp system variation learn process should be executed last.
