How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2010 Chevrolet HHR?

Start by removing the Starter before Crankshaft Position Sensor replacement. After disconnecting the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector you should use a socket wrench to remove the ckp sensor bolt before extracting the ckp sensor. Before installing the ckp sensor apply clean engine oil to the o-ring seal then put the sensor into place. After sensor bolt tightening reaches 10 nm (89 lb in) torque value use the ckp sensor electrical connector for connection. Finally, reinstall the Starter.
