    Q:
How to replace the front Ride Height Sensor for the electronic suspension on Chevrolet Suburban 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the front position sensor for the electronic suspension requires that you raise and support the vehicle. The sensor harness connector must be removed from its connection with the vehicle harness connector and the wheel speed sensor wire must be detached from the real time damping (RTD) sensor bracket. The installation begins with removing the bolt linking the rtd sensor to the upper Control Arm alongside the frame bolt followed by extracting the position sensor from the vehicle. Start by placing the position sensor on the vehicle and secure the frame bolt through it while tightening to 12 nm (106 inch lbs.). Secure the (RTD) sensor link bracket bolt onto the upper Control Arm while torquing it to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). The wheel speed sensor wire must connect to real time damping (RTD) sensor bracket while the sensor harness connector joins the vehicle harness connector before lowering the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the front Ride Height Sensor for the electronic suspension on Chevrolet Suburban 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Vehicle elevation and proper vehicle support are necessary before starting the replacement of the front position sensor for the electronic suspension. Detach the sensor harness connector from its connection to the vehicle harness connector before removing the wheel speed sensor wire from its fixture at the real time damping (RTD) sensor bracket. You must first separate the metering wire from the (RTD) sensor bracket and afterwards disconnect both the (RTD) sensor link bracket bolt from the upper Control Arm and the bolt from the frame. Proceed by taking out the position sensor from its vehicle installation. Installation begins with mounting the position sensor onto the vehicle yet following the guidelines stated in the fastener notice of the service precautions. Begin by installing the frame bolt then tighten it to 12 nm before moving on to installing the upper Control Arm (RTD) sensor link bracket bolt and tightening it to 9 nm. The wheel speed sensor wire must be replaced between both the real time damping (RTD) sensor bracket and the (RTD) sensor bracket. Proceed to connect the sensor harness connector with the vehicle harness connector before removing safety stands while lowering the vehicle.
