    Q:
How to replace the door lock switch and power window switch on the passenger side on Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to swap the passenger-side Door Lock and window switch involves removing the front door trim panel followed by removing one screw which holds the switch panel bezel to the front door trim panel. Finish by detaching the switch panel bezel from the door panel using a flat-bladed tool. The switch panel bezel removal begins with unscrewing the fixation screw between the front door trim panel and switch panel bezel. After screw removal, detach the switch panel bezel from the door panel using a flat-bladed tool. A wide plastic flat-bladed tool should be used to release retaining clips located on each side of the door module which enables door module removal from the switch panel bezel. Insert the door module into the switch panel bezel while it clicks into position before restoring the switch panel bezel together with the module back to the door trim panel. Install the screw that maintains the switch panel bezel to the front door trim panel making it tight at 2 n.m (18 lb in). Proceed with the front door trim panel replacement before executing setup and programming procedures according to guidelines found for these tasks.
