How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

To replace the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor you should first pull off the cover of the intake manifold, then disconnect the electrical connector of fuel injector harness from the MAP sensor. Then, take off the MAP sensor bolt/stud and bracket, as well as the MAP sensor and the MAP sensor port seal if it is still in the intake manifold. For installation, mount the MAP sensor to the intake manifold using the bracket and bolt/stud then tight the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in) as per Fastener Notice. After that, restore the MAP sensor and intake manifold cover. Reconnect the fuel injector harness electrical connector back to the MAP sensor.
