How to replace the heated oxygen sensor at position 2 on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

There are several steps needed to change the heated oxygen sensor located at position number 2. Start by lifting the car and setting it on supports. The J 39194-B (Heated Oxygen Sensor Wrench) should be used to remove the oxygen sensor while maintaining both the in-line connector and louvered end free from contamination and dirt and grease. The first step is to disconnect the engine harness electrical connector then remove its connector position assurance retainer. When reinstalling an original sensor it is necessary to apply anti-seize compound GM P/N 12377953 or an equivalent product to the threads. Tighten the new or serviced HO2S using the J 39194-B until it reaches 41 N.m (30 lb ft) for all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive models. The engine harness electrical connector must be rejoined along with proper installation of the CPA retainer and securement of the HO2S electrical connector clip to the heat shield before lowering the vehicle.
