How to replace the Power Steering Hose on 2007 Cadillac DTS?

The first task involves installation of a drain pan beneath the vehicle followed by power steering pressure hose detachment from the Power Steering Pump. Raise and support the vehicle before you remove the power steering gear heat shield as well as the wheelhouse liner. First disconnect the hose from the power steering gear while removing the power steering pressure hose bracket retaining nut at the Cylinder Head. Then remove the hose from the vehicle by separate it from the bracket at the frame. The first step toward installation involves mounting a new power steering pressure hose onto your vehicle and connecting it properly to the bracket fixed at the frame while keeping the fastener notice in mind. The power steering pressure hose installation requires the hose to be connected to the steering gear while tightness should be maintained at 27 n.m (20 lb ft). Afterward move to install the power steering pressure hose bracket and its retaining nut onto the Cylinder Head with 9 n.m (80 lb in) torque. Put back the wheelhouse liner and heat shield then lower the vehicle while linking the pressure hose at the pump and tightening it to 27 n.m (20 lb ft). Bleeding the power steering system must be performed after removing the drain pan.
