How to replace the lower control arm in the front suspension on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

To replace the lower Control Arm of the front suspension, first you should lift and support the vehicle, then remove the tire and wheel and then the air deflector. Next remove the shock module yoke from the lower Control Arm by not allowing the ball stud to rotate while uncoupling or coupling the parts used hand tools. Remove the stabilizer shaft link lower retaining nut and the stabilizer shaft link down off the lower Control Arm, then remove the abs wire harness and lower Control Arm to Steering Knuckle nut. Separate the lower Control Arm from the Steering Knuckle with the help of the ball joint remover (J43631), elevating the power steering gear for clearance as required. Remove the power steering gear retaining bolts before taking the lower Control Arm nuts and bolts to cradle. Lower the Control Arm at the frame while lifting the ball stud up to finish the removal. In case of installation, mount the lower Control Arm to the ball stud, and lift it up to the cradle, and mount with the lower Control Arm to cradle bolts and nuts and then tighten the nuts: 135 n.m (96 lb ft). Apply 120 n.m (89 lb ft) to the power steering gear retaining bolts, and then install the lower Control Arm to Steering Knuckle nut, which is included with 20 n.m (15 lb ft) plus180 degrees. Reattach the abs wire harness, stabilizer shaft link, and stabilizer shaft link lower retaining nut, which are tightened by 110 n.m (81 lb ft). Last install the shock module yoke, air deflector tire and wheel and lower the vehicle and align the front end.
