How to replace the lower control arm on 2008 Cadillac SRX?

Vehicle elevation and support become essential steps before starting the replacement of the lower Control Arm. First remove the tire and wheel and next remove the stabilizer shaft link lower retaining nut before disconnecting the stabilizer shaft link from the lower Control Arm. Start by taking out the rear coil spring before moving on to both the lower Control Arm to knuckle bolt and the lower Control Arm to frame bolt and nut . Begin installation of the new lower Control Arm to the vehicle but start by loosely positioning all fasteners first before final tightening. Begin by installing the lower Control Arm to frame bolt then the lower Control Arm to frame nut. Continue to install the lower Control Arm to knuckle bolt. Reinstall the rear coil spring then tighten the following fasteners: lower Control Arm to frame bolt to 135 n.m (100 lb ft), lower Control Arm to frame nut to 135 n.m (100 lb ft), and lower Control Arm to knuckle bolt to 160 n.m (118 lb ft). Install the stabilizer shaft link to the lower Control Arm before tightening the lower retaining nut. Phucial step: install the tire and wheel and lower the vehicle.
