How to replace the rear Motor and Transmission Mount on 2007 Chevrolet HHR?

In order to replace the rear transmission mount level and support the vehicle and support the transaxle using an appropriate jack. Remove rear transaxle mount thru bolt and heat shield as well as rear transaxle mount to frame bolts and then remove rear transaxle mount. During installation, start by six-degree turns of a bolt for a rear transaxle mount to frame, install rear transaxle mount, heat shield, and the thru bolt to the transmission bracket with six-degree turns of bolt. Make sure the rear transaxle mount to frame bolts are tightened to 60 n.m (44 lb ft). Rotates the rear transaxle mount heat shield clockwise until tab is seated in the mount bracket, and the front and rear transmission mounts settle with the thru bolts loosened; modification (on a 1997 Honda Jones CV) loosen the front transaxle mount thru bolt without removing. Next, use a torque wrench to tighten the rear transmission mount thru bolt to 100 n.m (74 lb ft) and then tighten the front transmission mount thru bolt to the same specification. Finally, lower the vehicle.
