How to replace the left side engine mount (AWD) on 2008 Cadillac STS?

The first step to replace the left side Engine Mount of an awd vehicle involves vehicle lifting and support installation. Plant a screw jack along with wood beneath the Oil Pan while supporting the vehicle for replacement of the lower Engine Mount retaining nut. The screw jack should lift the engine to eliminate mounting pressure while removing the Engine Mount slotted washer that connects to the frame. Take out the Engine Mount from your vehicle following the removal of both Engine Mount retaining nuts. When reinstalling the Engine Mount into the vehicle install the upper Engine Mount retaining nut while torquing it to a value of 80 n.m (59 lb ft). Position an Engine Mount slotted washer between the Engine Mount and the frame before lowering the engine with the screw jack until the mount receives the weight. Mount the Engine Mount lower retaining nut according to torques of 80 n.m (59 lb ft) before removing the screw jack and block of wood supporting the Oil Pan.
