How to replace the rear wheel bearing and hub on 2008 Chevrolet HHR?

You must elevate the vehicle before replacing the Wheel Bearing and hub assembly. Take off both the wheel and tire from the vehicle. You do not need to take apart the entire rear brake system when working on related suspension parts. Simply pull out the sets as units and put them off to the side. Detach both the Brake Drum and rotor from the back of the vehicle. Unfasten the Wheel Bearing/hub mounting nuts from the Wheel Bearing/hub unit before extracting it from both the Trailing Arm and brake plate. Unplug the wheel speed sensor electrical wires from the Wheel Bearing and hub unit. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector to Wheel Bearing/hub assembly before fitting into the Trailing Arm and Brake Backing Plate. First tighten Wheel Bearing/hub mounting nuts to 45 n.m (33 lb ft) and then apply j 45059 to rotate those nuts for another 30 degrees. When installing this feature put on the rear Brake Drum and brake rotor. Set the tire and wheel part in its place while taking away any lifting gear once finished.
