Predicate the O-ring joint with the same tool before separating tubing halves while withdrawing the A/C Orifice Tube out from the A/C tube. When installing the A/C Orifice Tube into the A/C line users should lubricate the O-ring with 525 refrigerant before fitting it. Tighten both O-ring joints next to each other until the joint reaches 24 N.m (18 lbft) torque. The recharge of the refrigerant system starts after positioning the line inside the plastic hold-down clamp. The final procedure requires usage of the Electronic Halogen Leak Detector (J 39400-A) for leak testing.
