You have to take out the
Starter motor first before starting to work on the valve stem oil seal and valve spring replacement on the right side. Before continuing insert the en 46106 flywheel holding tool on the
Crankshaft to keep it from rotating. Failure to use this tool could mean you must disassemble the
Camshaft timing system. Connect the j 39313 Spark Plug port adapter to a compressed air source by placing it into the specified cylinder and then removing the Spark Plug. Fasten the en 46110 on-vehicle valve spring compressor above the cylinder and adjust its tightening nut. Use the wrench to loosen the compressor. Set aside both valve spring retainer and each spring when the nut loosens. Use the en 46116 device to take out the valve stem seal. To set new valve stem seals you must use en 46116 first and then install valve springs with their retainers. Place the en 46110 back on top of the valve spring before adding valve spring keepers while securing its nut. Take the j 39313 away from the air supply and put it aside when you set the spark plugs in place. At last replace the
Rocker Arms and camshafts then detach the en 46106 before fitting the Starter motor.
