How to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) on Chevrolet HHR?

To replace the knock sensor (KS), first, lift and adequately support the vehicle. You need to disconnect the knock sensor harness electrical connector, also uninstall the KS bolt and the KS. To install, begin installing the KS while obeying the observations written in the Fastener Notice. Next, install the KS bolt and torque to 25 N.m (18 lb. ft.). Finally, you can reattach the KS harness electrical connector and lower the vehicle.
