To unlock the lock ring use j 45722 with a long breaker-bar rotating it counterclockwise until loose and finally remove the j 45722. The Fuel Tank vent pipe requires to be disconnected from the module cover by lifting the Fuel Pump module and following its ascent from the Fuel Tank while clearing the module opening for the Fuel Level Sensor arm and float. Afterward discard the Fuel Pump module seal. Drain the fuel from the surfaces being cleaned so fire risk remains minimized according to safety procedures.
