Chevrolet Tahoe Oxygen Sensor Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 on Chevrolet Tahoe?
A: Raise the car to start the replacement of the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1. Remove the connector from the HO2S first, and then take out the HO2S by using the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B). If required, put a coat of GM P/N 5613695 anti-seize compound on the oxygen sensor threads before you install it, since this substance helps with easier removal later. Install the HO2S with the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) and make sure it is tightened to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). After that, plug in the HO2S harness connector andlower the vehicle back to the ground.
