    Q:
How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor - Bank 2 Sensor 2 (2500 Series) on Cadillac Escalade ESV? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement of the Heated Oxygen Sensor - Bank 2 Sensor 2 (2500 Series) requires an initial step where the vehicle needs to be properly raised with support. Detach the connector position assurance retainer from the sensor before removing the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the HO2S electrical connector. The HO2S electrical connector clip needs to be removed from its position on the engine harness clip before the HO2S can be taken out. Apply GM P/N 12377953 anti-seize compound, or equivalent to sensor threads before reinstallation when replacing the old sensor since the HO2S thread requires special anti-seize compound made of liquid graphite and glass beads for simplified future removal. Position the HO2S in place then round it to a torque of 42 N.m (31 lb ft). The installation process should begin with connecting the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the HO2S electrical connector followed by inserting the CPA retainer to finish by lowering the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor - Bank 2 Sensor 1 (2500 Series) on Cadillac Escalade ESV? Posted by Customer
    A:
First navigate to the right wheelhouse to remove the liner so you can free the connector position assurance retainer to disconnect the HO2S electrical connector that is linked to the engine wiring harness electrical connector. Next, remove the HO2S . The HO2S requires installation with a special anti-seize compound consisting of liquid graphite and glass beads; using GM P/N 12377953 or equivalent product can coat the threads of reused sensors. Fasten the HO2S by applying torque to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). Installation of the right wheelhouse liner requires reconnecting the HO2S electrical connector to the engine wiring harness electrical connector before installing the CPA retainer.

    Q:
How to Replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor - Bank 1 Sensor 2 on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Customer
    A:
First raise and support the vehicle before proceeding with replacement of the Heated Oxygen Sensor - Bank 1 Sensor 2 (2500 Series). Users need to disconnect the HO2S electrical connector from its position on the engine wiring harness electrical connector after removing the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer. Carefully remove the HO2S . The HO2S threads require application of anti-seize compound GM P/N 12377953 or equivalent during installation because special anti-seize compound with liquid graphite and glass beads helps sensor removal. When installing the HO2S sensor you must tighten it to 42 Nm (31 lb ft) torque. Begin by connecting the HO2S electrical connector to the engine wiring harness electrical connector then install the CPA retainer and finally lower the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 2 Sensor 1 on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Customer
    A:
Starting a replacement process of the Bank 2 Sensor 1 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) requires the vehicle elevation followed by necessary support. First disconnect the HO2S electrical connector by removing its connector position assurance retainer and engine wiring harness electrical connector. Afterwards separate the wiring harness clip and HO2S from its clip. After taking the HO2S clip out of the engine wiring harness clip position it is possible to remove the HO2S. When installing the previous sensor users should apply special anti-seize compound GM P/N 12377953 or an equivalent product that contains liquid graphite and glass beads to improve its thread functionality. Secure the HO2S by tightening it to 42 Nm (31 lb ft). Lower the vehicle simultaneously while installing the HO2S clip to the engine wiring harness clip and connecting the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the HO2S electrical connector and attaching the CPA retainer.

    Q:
How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor - Bank 1 Sensor 1 on GMC Yukon? Posted by Customer
    A:
In order to replace the heated Oxygen Sensor - bank 1 sensor 1, first, lift and support the vehicle. Remove the front propeller shaft from front Differential, in the case the automobile is 4 wheel driven. Take off the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer and disengage the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the ho2s. Take the clip from the ho2s electrical connector clip from the fuel line clip, then take the ho2s. When installing old sensor, one should coat its thread with anti-seize compound gm p/n 12377953 or equivalent. Replace the ho2s and tighten according to the value of 42 nm (31 lb ft). The engine wiring harness electrical connector should be connected to ho2s and the engine wiring harness electrical connector clip should be fixed to the fuel line clip. Finally, install the cpa retainer and reinstall the front propeller shaft to the front Differential if the vehicle had 4wd, after that, lift the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor - Bank 2 Sensor 1 on GMC Yukon? Posted by Customer
    A:
Firstly, raise and support the vehicle to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor - Bank 2 Sensor 1. Detach the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the HO2S electrical connector and remove the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer. Nexty remove the HO2S clip from the engine wiring harness clip and hence remove the HO2S. When reinstalling, code the threads first when the old sensor is being reused with anti-seize compound GM P/N 12377953 or its equivalent because a special anti-seize compound made up of liquid grease and glass beads is applied the HO2S threads to make it easier to remove. Also, fit the HO2S and tighten it to 42 Nm (31 lb ft). There is no starter or alternator with the larger negative cable coming to the starter alter harness. I'll transmit information to the starter accessory loop function . Check the starter or alternator when troubleshooting other issues which may necessitate a rewrite.
