Pull out the generator from its current position on the engine. The generator installation sequence begins with positioning the generator to the engine then adding the engine lift bracket followed by torqueing the generator mounting bolts to 50 n.m (37 lb ft) in a specific pattern. Steer the generator lead to its designated area before tightening the generator output bat terminal nut with a torque of 20 n.m (15 lb ft). After pressing the protective boot onto the generator output bat terminal the wiring harness connector must attach to the generator. Lift the vehicle once more to access the A/C Compressor and place it into the correct position for installation. Secure the mounting bolts (2 and 3) to 50 n.m (37 lb ft) torque. Tap the A/C Compressor electrical connector onto its bracket before fitting the left wheelhouse liner and left front wheel. Begin by removing the bolt securing the air conditioning line mounting bracket from the engine lift hook and continue by uninstalling the right engine lift hook bolts to detach the lift hook. Pry off the three generator mounting bolts andextract the generator from the system. To disconnect the generator's power source use a wrench on the positive Battery Cable nut. Secure the battery positive cable to the generator through its designated nut while tightening to 9 nm (80 lb in). Secure the generator with three bolts which should reach a torque of 50 nm (37 lb ft). Reposition the engine lift hook while using two bolts to fasten it. These bolts require a torque of 50 nm (37 lb ft). Use the bolt to mount the a/c line bracket onto the lift hook until it reaches 10 nm (89 lb in) torque. Reinstall the Drive Belt and finish by attaching the battery negative cable.

Unsrew the heater outlet hose clamp bolt at generator bracket then unscrew the engine wiring harness connector from the generator and shift the engine wiring harness boot. Retract the engine wrire harness nut lead from the generator while removing the generator bolts and repositioning the heater outlet hose and the A/C Compressor/condenser hoses as the generator can be removed from the bracket. For installation, put the generator in the bracket and align the hoses accordingly. Mount the generator bolts and tighten them up to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Connect the engine wiring harness lead to the generator stud and fix the nut to the generator and tighten it to9 n.m (80 lb in). Connect the electrical connector of the generator to the engine wiring harness boot and position the boot over the generator stud. Install the heater outlet hose clamp bolt at the generator bracket with a torque of 25 n.m(18 lb ft) and the A/C Compressor and condenser hose bracket bolt at the same torque. Replace the engine wiring harness clip to the A/C Compressor/condenser hose bracket, replace the Drive Belt and put everything back, replace the air cleaner outlet resonator and lastly connect the negative Battery Cable again.
