Begin the stop lamp switch replacement by disconnecting power from the switch then remove the pushrod retaining clip before pulling out the switch. Begin installation with the stop lamp switch followed by the pushrod retaining clip before ending with installation of the electrical connector to the stop lamp switch .

First put in the stop lamp switch followed by the pushrod retaining clip . Attach the electrical connector to the stop lamp switch ending position.
