How to Service and Repair the Fuel Pressure Sensor on GMC Canyon?

Onsite replacement of the Fuel Tank pressure sensor starts with sufficiently raising and supporting the vehicle to reach the Fuel Tank top through the wheelhouse liner. Owners of crew cab vehicles should lower their Fuel Tank for service. The initial replacement task starts by taking off the left pickup box wheelhouse liner after you disconnect the ftp sensor electrical connector. The removal of the ftp sensor requires pulling it upward from the Fuel Tank module. Attach a slight rocking motion to pull the Fuel Tank pressure sensor straight up in order to detach it from the system. The new Fuel Tank pressure sensor needs to be placed into its designated position while following Fuel Tank replacement instructions that match your cab variant.
