    Q:
How to replace the Brake Proportioning Valve on Chevrolet Avalanche 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
You need to locate the identification code of the old combination valve before purchasing its replacement. First disconnect all electrical parts from the combination valve then remove the front and rear brake pipes before taking out the valve assembly. For proper valve installation insert the new combination valve having the same punched id code as the original part. Reinsert the combination valve into its place before connecting the brake pipes. Tighten all brake pipe nuts to 25 nm pression (18 ft. Pounds). Connect the combination valve electrical part while pressing the metering rod after the brake system bleed process. Use proper steps to remove remaining air from the brake lines.

How to replace the Brake Proportioning Valve on Chevrolet Silverado 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before replacing the combination valve take note of its identification code to match with the new valve's label. To replace the combination valve you have to disconnect electrical and brake pipes then remove it from the car. Serious that replacement combination valves match exactly the pin punched identification code from the original vehicle component. First attach the new combination valve to your vehicle and afterward secure both the front and rear brake pipes with a torque of 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Fix the combination valve electrical connector to its place while keeping the metering rod pressed as you complete brake system bleeding.
